Ported manifold (used)

 

This is a stock Road Star manifold, ported by the Road Star Clinic in California for high performance use.  This manifold is highly recommended for Road Star owners who have replaced their stock intake air kits and exhaust pipes (or who intend to).  Replaces the stock Road Star intake manifold which is optimized for use with the stock air kit and exhaust system, and provides improved flow characteristics for aftermarket performance accessories

 

These manifolds have been ported not only to radius the infamous “T” intersection in the middle, but also cross sectionally enlarged to accommodate much higher internal flow rates.  Increased from factory 40mm internally to 41mm, these manifolds take full advantage of the Road Stars 41mm intake ports for best airflow.  We also take the time to surface the internal rubber surfaces to promote a smaller “boundary” layer which effectively provides a larger flowing section of air over an equivalent size “smooth rubber” surfaced manifold.

 

To promote best seal with the heads, all manifolds have their mounting flanges surfaced to eliminate the normal surface variations found on Road Star factory manifolds.

 

Used manifolds are inspected and tested to ensure freedom from leakage.
