Installation instructions for Floorboards, Step 1. Trace online the side of the bike that has the master cylinder attached to the floorboard. You will see a couple grommets (maybe 3) holding the line in place. They are glued to the tubing. You must break the glue seal and re-glue after you pull the brake line forward. Be gentle as well, and work it. Do this before you remove the bolts. Step 2. Master Cylinder Side Remove the two bolts holding the floorboard and install the extension using the same bolts. Notice on the floorboard there is a notch. This notch goes closest to the ground (on the bottom of the floorboard). Reinstall the floorboard into the boltholes on the extension, using the top and middle bolt location. Step 3. Shift linkage side. Remove the shift linkage from both ends. Re-adjust inwards one or two notches. Repeat to install the second floorboard extension on the other side. If you need to adjust the shift linkage, you can do so after the extension is installed. NOTE: Some floorboards require a little widening of the boltholes before installation.
